Earlier this week, CBS News reported on a government sponsored retirement plan for small business. Here are some of the details:

1. Do you have a retirement program currently at work?
2. Are you confident in selecting an IRA with a financial institution?
3. Do you feel confident in choosing an investment plan on your own?
4. Would you take advantage of an IRA of your own choosing?

If you said no to any of these questions, small businesses can now set up a program to get started. The program is called myRA. You are investing in government back securities. There are other rules and restrictions. I think it is a positive move for many people at small businesses who don’t have a retirement program.
